Getting Started

What is Stilltide?
Stilltide uses AI to generate professional equipment evaluations for industrial machinery. Upload photos and documents, and receive a detailed report with specs, pricing, and marketing-ready descriptions.
How do I create an evaluation?
From your dashboard, click "New Evaluation" and choose Single, Package, or System. Upload photos, videos, and any supporting documents, then submit. The AI processes the files and delivers your report.
What types of equipment can Stilltide evaluate?
Stilltide is designed for industrial machinery and equipment commonly found in resale, auctions, and dealer networks. Single evaluations cover one machine. Package evaluations cover multiple unrelated machines bundled together. System evaluations cover connected production lines and cells.
How long does an evaluation take?
Most evaluations complete within a few minutes. Complex equipment with many photos may take slightly longer.

Evaluations

What does an evaluation report include?
Each report includes equipment identification, technical specifications, market pricing based on current data, condition assessment, and a marketing-ready description suitable for listings. Package and System reports add a system-level summary, production flow, combined pricing with bundle premium, completeness percentage, and a per-machine breakdown.
How accurate is the AI pricing?
Stilltide provides market-informed pricing estimates based on current data. These are informational estimates to support your decisions, not formal appraisals. Actual sale prices may vary based on condition, location, and market conditions.
Can I download my evaluation?
Yes. Each completed evaluation can be downloaded as a professional PDF report ready for use in listings, proposals, or internal records. The Professional plan also includes Excel export for importing evaluation data into your own spreadsheets and listing tools.
What file types and sizes are supported?
Photos: JPG, PNG, WEBP up to 10 MB each. Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, WEBM, M4V up to 200 MB each. Documents: PDF, DOCX, XLSX up to 25 MB each. Total files per evaluation are capped at 20 for Single, 100 for System, and 200 for Package. For best results, include clear photos of the equipment from multiple angles, including nameplates and serial numbers.

Credits & Billing

How do credits work?
Each evaluation uses one credit from the matching pool. Single-machine evaluations use single credits. The Professional plan adds a separate package and system credit pool; each Package or System evaluation consumes one credit from that pool regardless of how many machines it contains. Credits reset each billing cycle.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You will not be able to start new evaluations until your credits reset at the next billing cycle or you upgrade your plan.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle and do not carry over.
How do I manage my subscription?
Visit the Billing page in your account to view your current plan, credit usage, and manage your subscription through our secure billing portal.

Issues & Feature Requests

How do I report a bug?
Click your name in the top right corner and select "Report Issue / Request," or navigate to the Issues page directly. Click "Submit New Issue / Request," select "Report a Bug," then follow the wizard to describe the issue, provide steps to reproduce, and attach any screenshots.
How do I request a new feature?
Click your name in the top right corner and select "Report Issue / Request," or navigate to the Issues page directly. Click "Submit New Issue / Request," select "Request a Feature," then describe your idea, your current workflow, and how the feature would benefit you.
Can I see other users' submitted issues?
Yes. The Issues page shows the title, description, and status of all submitted issues and feature requests. Your personal details are not displayed to other users.
What happens after I submit an issue?
Your submission is tracked internally. When the fix or feature is addressed, the status will update to show it has been resolved. Once a new version is released with the fix, the issue will be removed from the list.
How do I contact Stilltide for business inquiries?
Visit the Contact Us page in the footer for business inquiries and general requests.

Account

How do I reset my password?
You can request a password reset from your Settings page while logged in, or click "Forgot password?" on the login page. Either way, you will receive an email with a link to set a new password.
Can I change my email address?
Yes. Go to your Settings page and enter your new email address. A confirmation email will be sent to your current and new address. Your email will update once you confirm.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Settings page and click "Delete Account." You will be asked to confirm. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data, cancels any active subscription, and forfeits unused credits. This action cannot be undone.
